Rotamec’s out of hours site team keep local restaurant up and running & save £9k in down time!

Our out of hours team received an urgent phone call on a Sunday afternoon from a local FM company requesting for our help, their client a Brasserie & Bar in Windsor had no mains water due to the fact that the standby Pump they were running on had failed. As the restaurant was going to be closed on the Monday because of this, the customer required a Twin Pump set urgently on the Monday morning and to be installed asap!

The existing pumps that the restaurant had in place were in fact obsolete, however our Branch Manager Alan Brooks was quick to specify and source a direct replacement from Lowara. A same day courier was organised to collect the new pump set and members of our site services team were dispatched straight to site in Windsor to remove the failed pumps. The Pumps were installed, commissioned and made operational again which meant the client could commence trading again the following morning.

The client advised that it costs £9k per day for each day the restaurant cannot trade so they were extremely pleased that the out of hours response and service that we provided, meant that lost revenue was kept to a minimum.
