Business Development Lead

The Role:

  • To carry out and take responsibility for ALL Sales & Business Development internally, along with all other tasks as required by the Branch manager.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Taking enquiries from customers over the phone in a professional manner.
  • Investigating, researching and finding NEW business opportunities from dormant and new accounts.
  • Ensuring Customer service levels surpass customer expectations.
  • Creating and closing quotations/enquiries and recording them down in an accurate manner.
  • Issuing quotes to customers on the day it is collated and contacting the customer to inform them of any delays.
  • To produce all aspects of quotes as directed by the Branch Manager.
  • Following Sales Strategies created and implemented by the Sales Director.
  • To Call Customers and chase orders, quotes and PO’s
  • To treat all sales related work as a priority.
  • Liaise with the Area Sales Managers daily regarding the processing of all sales documentation, lead generation and assist where necessary.
  • Update emir accordingly with quote notes and files, job cards with photos, notes and files.
  • General Sales administration.

  • Proven experience and track record in sales.

  • Excellent telephone manner.

Workshop Engineer

Job title:Workshop Engineer

JOB ROLE:

The workshop engineer will take complete responsibility for repairing electrical motors, pumps and gearboxes and any specific workshop tasks as required by the Supervisor/Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Undertakes repair of electric motors, pumps and gearboxes.
  • Ensures deadlines are met to meet with customer expectation.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as and when needed.
  • Overhauling a wide variety of pumps, motors, gearboxes.
  • Carry out mechanical maintenance, repairs, and assembly of pumps and other related rotating equipment.
  • Fault-finding on break down equipment.
  • Adherence to Health and Safety protocol.
  • Complete workshop documentation and pass to Workshop Supervisor or Manager. 
  • Completion of daily timesheets.
  • Keeps a clean and tidy work area.
  • To be available for call out shift or overtime as directed by the Workshop Supervisor or Manager.
  • Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Workshop Supervisor or Manager.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience within electrical motors, pumps and gearboxes.
  • Computer skills required to basic level.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal working hours.
  • Good time keeping skills are essential.

Sales Coordinator

JOB ROLE:

To provide comprehensive sales support to the Business Development team, ensuring efficient handling of customer enquiries, accurate quotation management, and smooth coordination of sales-related processes. The role plays a key part in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and supporting the team in achieving business growth objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Professionally handle incoming customer and prospect enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Prepare, process, and issue quotations accurately and promptly, ensuring customers are informed of timelines or any potential delays.
  • Record and manage all enquiries and quotations within the company’s systems to maintain accurate sales data.
  • Support the Business Development Lead in generating and chasing up on quotes, purchase orders, and customer communications.
  • Proactively contact customers to follow up on quotes, orders, and outstanding purchase orders.
  • Create and manage job records, ensuring all relevant documentation and purchase orders are correctly processed.
  • Prioritise and manage all sales-related administrative duties to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Business Development and wider sales team as required.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience in a sales support role (preferably within a business development or commercial environment).
  • Strong customer service orientation with a professional and courteous manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
